About This Project

Hydrogen Oxidising Bacteria (HOB) may be the most sustainable source of tasty protein. We have designed an electroPioreactor that could let anyone enrich HOB from nature. We would like to run a pilot trial with 5-10 individuals, giving them each 1 or 2 electroPioreactors to see if they can enrich HOB with them.

We have:
- CAD$10,000 funding for bioreactor manufacturing and media costs from Prof. Joshua Pearce of Western University.

- CAD$100,000 research support in kind with Western-funded researchers, and

- US$60,000 support from a Harvey Mudd Clinic.

We require additional funding from you to:
- Produce interactive videos so that all researchers are following the same methodology.

- Procure an analytical balance for micronutrient and mesonutrient makeup.
