Again, nice to see those pictures! These dimensions are incredible... I imagine it hard to always farm on the brink of complete crop loss or failure. Difficult to always have this fear in the back of your head... Did you get a feeling if the farmers suffer from this psychological pressure? Hope you are doing great and all is well after the blizzard!

Dear Michael! Nice to hear from you! I'm happy that everything seems to work and that you're making good progress! Thanks for the pics and the detailed descriptions, it's very interesting to see this other dimension of farming that is even bigger than in Eastern Germany... Don't get lost =) and all the best!

I like to go to forest to find peace. But how many really natural forests are there? Left alone, untouched by human interests and machines? Not a lot, at least not in developped countries. Finding nature is not easy nowadays! Most of what we call "nature" is under more or less strong influence by humans. I try to use the word "nature" more carefully, in cases when it is really appropriate. Also for me, the Alps, or mountains in general, are nice places to find rest of mind. Being closer to the sky and the atmosphere of mountains, both makes me feel humble and small, and so do problems in everyday life =)
