Nuclear fusion is one of the most captivating clean energy sources of our time. Many fusion reactors have been built with the simplest being the Farnsworth Fusion Reactor (Fusor). The Fusor uses Inertial Electrostatic Confinement (IEC) to contain a plasma in which Deuterium ions are accelerated towards a central point where they collide and fuse, releasing energy.
