Almost there!

Thank you so much to everyone who as donated so far! We are immensely grateful for everyone's support so far.

We have been busy building additional support from universities and students across Pakistan. One of our main objectives is to involve students into all parts of the project. This will include developing research projects for students to undertake, such as studies on human-Indian wolf conflict, investigating the diet of Indian wolves using genetically verified scats, and studying the ecology of other species we identify in our survey, such red fox and caracal.

We also want to introduce a key team member on the project, Omar Khayam, in our efforts to conserve the Indian wolf in Pakistan. Omar is a wildlife biologist and environmental communicator based in Sacramento CA, who is passionate about conserving the vanishing wildlife back home in Pakistan. Supporting and empowering the involvement of young and bright researchers like Omar on conservation initiatives is a primary goal of the project.

 

With these collaborations and Omar's help, we have already brought more awareness to the Indian wolf and its unique place in the biodiversity of Pakistan.

We look forward to continuing this goal when the project is (hopefully) successfully funded!
