Moving forward one day at a time. I am excited to share that the data collection is almost complete! The next step will be data analysis. Thanks to everyone who contributed to this project we have been able to meet our goal of 300-400 participants. As the data is analyzed I will share updates on the continuing progress! Team-based work is becoming increasingly popular in the workplace. Recent research shows that members of task groups with more females perceive each other as less effective than those with more males, regardless of their performance ability. The present research will examine how a group's gender composition affects group members' evaluations of one another as well as the group as a whole. The research will also see if people feel differently about themselves if they are within specific groups.
