Alec is a Doctoral Student in Clinical Psychology at the University of Oregon, working with Dr. Jennifer J. Freyd in the Dynamics Laboratory. Broadly, his research interests include investigating how experiences of interpersonal trauma (betrayal trauma) may impact psychological and physiological outcomes, with a strong focus on LGBT/non-heterosexual populations. More specifically, Alec is currently investigating the trajectories of psychopathology development in LGBT/non-heterosexual individuals as compared to heterosexual individuals.
