For anyone interested, the history of pitch is, understandably if you think about it, a convoluted one... I've done a bit more googling and the wiki page is quite informative: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Concert_pitch This is a short and accessible video made by the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DLuM8cbc1dM

Can music influence the longevity of human blood cells?
Hi there... your reply landed in my inbox. I was a scholar at the Royal College of Music where I studied for five years followed by a further year's study in Germany funded by a Countess of Munster scholarship. Concert pitch was sometimes mentioned in relation to period instruments but not given any other attention. It was more recently, during the past few years, that I read about specific Hz changes. I thought it was worth mentioning just to ensure the knowledge was accounted for.... apologies if the specifics were wrong, I googled them as I didn't know them offhand. The facebook quip was wasted on me... I loathe facebook. I wish you happy music making... at whatever Hz! Jane

Others may have mentioned this and you probably know it.. but it may be relevant to be aware that the orchestral tuning to 432Hz was changed to 440Hz about seventy or so years ago. This affects everything in terms of the outplaying and effects of frequencies.

Can music influence the longevity of human blood cells?
I'm a musician by profession but no longer work, sadly, as I became so sensitive to the energetic morphologies of other people, I had to 'leave the world', Four walls and distance are not protectors from the constant impact but they help. I have had some extraordinary experiences involving music and as I became increasingly sensitive, music revealed itself to be more profound... and exquisitely utilitarian... than anything I'd previously realised . It is for these reasons I think the research into the effects of music on biology is fundamentally important. Music in its purest forms is one of the last bastions of health giving 'information' remaining on the planet and can't be easily tampered with. The air, food, water, electromagnetic field are all distorted. Pharmacy as we know it doesn't serve to restore biological information back to health, it all too often does the opposite. Music holds truth in a world of lies. I bless those involved in this research. ''May the force be with you!''
