Matthew Holmes is an undergraduate at the University of Oregon. He is interested in looking at damaged ecosystems and the impacts that humans have on the environment. After he graduates, he plans to research other areas where there are organisms being affected by pollution and destruction of habitat.

Nikk Jachim is an undergraduate student studying biology at the University of Oregon. Some specific interests of his are ecology and evolutionary biology. His employment history includes work with City Year and the U.S. Forest Service. He plans to continue work in science education and forest biology with the Forest Service upon graduation from U of O.
