I am a PhD-student at Maastricht University. I studied clinical medicine for seven years including 3 years training in China. I passed the physician qualification examination, got my master degree and the licensing of doctors in 2013. After that, I worked one year as a neurosurgery resident in Benq hospital, an Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University, Nanjing, China. I came to the Netherlands in November of 2014 and in 2015 I got a 3-year fellowship from China Scholarship Council which would support my Ph.D. research in Maastricht University under the supervision of Dr. Pilar Martinez. Currently, my project focuses on the relationship between neuronal autoantibodies and psychiatric disorders, mainly depression and anxiety.
