With a diverse background in computer science and social sciences, Kafid is the founder of Africitizen and currently serves as the Project Manager and Coordinator of Africa partnership at the School of Collective Intelligence (SCI) and Africa liaison for GOSH(Gathering for Open Science Hardware).
Kafid's academic journey includes completing the Master's program at the School of Collective Intelligence, where he honed his expertise in applying cognitive science to public policy and utilizing computational social science to gain insights into complex societal issues. His passion for addressing social problems in Africa has been a driving force throughout his career. He successfully managed numerous ICT projects for individuals, SMEs, and NGOs, demonstrating his proficiency in leveraging technology for social impact.
Drawing upon his interdisciplinary knowledge, Kafid focuses on conducting applied research pertaining to education, health, and agriculture challenges in Africa. By combining computer science and social sciences, he seeks innovative solutions to address these pressing issues and contribute to the development of African communities.
