Angel Troncoso Garcia is a former Substitute Teacher in Orange County Public Schools for Kelly Services. Having recently completed his Honors Associate's at Valencia College, he is now completing his Bachelors of Science in Biomathematics at Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne. He completed an internship at the Kennedy Space Life Science Lab through the University of Florida conducting micro-gravity experiments on squids for future space missions which was later present at the Florida American Society for Microbiology. His research also includes bio-acoustical emanation of the amazon river dolphin. He maintains an active membership with Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, the national American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, the national American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and the Florida Branch of the American Society for Microbiology. Angel grew up in Fajardo, Puerto Rico and moved to Orlando, Florida in 2006. He completed his year of national services with City Year Orlando in 2016 through Americorps and now serves as a board member on the City Year Orlando Alumni Board.
