Erol Yildirim

I am Erol Yıldırım. I am from Turkey. I am a Professor at Ataturk University - Erzurum in Turkey. My major fields are economic and urban entomology, management methods of pests and pesticides as well as ecolgical, faunistical and systematical studies on the order of Hymenoptera.

I am a membership from 2003 until now in the Entomological Society of America and from 1988 until now in the Entomological Society of Turkey.

I studied spheciformes wasps in Turkey for many years and I published many publications in this subject. In 2008 I wrote also a book titled "Annotated Catalogue of the Ampulicidae, Sphecidae and Crabronidae (Insecta: Hymenoptera) of Turkey" with the collabration of the Dr. Toshko Ljubomirov.

My reached experience in spheciformes wasps fauna of Turkey as well as the presence of reached identified wasps collection in our Entomological Museum of Erzurum in our Plant Protection department will be very helpful in this project to determine species of this fauna in Tunisia and to achieve objectives of this important project for Tunisian fauna.
