My name is Guillermo and I am a scientist in formation. I specialise in working interdisciplinary projects, involving subjects such as organic chemistry, microbiology, mineral processing, surface studies and microscopy.
When i'm not knee deep in research, I like to be knee deep in snow, climbing summits, crossing deserts or taking pictures of wild animals in the Savannah plains of Africa. I compete in medieval combat sports as a way to let go stress from writing a Ph.D. thesis.
I am looking for interesting research in order to fuel my interest and hopefully, land some collaborations. I am particularly interested in the field of bioprospecting, as a way to link my outdoorsy hobbies with my scientific training.
