I'm an environmental epidemiologist studying how microbes—like antibiotic-resistant bacteria and emerging zoonotic pathogens—move between people, animals, and the environment. I use environmental sampling, sequencing, and mapping to understand and prevent the spread of disease. I’ve worked in communities from Maryland to Nepal, partnering with farmers, families, and frontline health workers. My goal is to build science that’s actionable, collaborative, and grounded in real-world needs—especially where the risks are greatest.
