I am radiology resident at the University of Miami with an interest in the field of nuclear medicine/nuclear radiology. This field combines the imaging aspects of radiology with the functional aspects of physiology. Accordingly, it is a great field to study cancers and their response to therapy. I received my undergraduate degree in chemistry from the University of Rochester and my MD and PhD (physiology) degrees from New York Medical College. During my PhD training I secured a research fellowship at the University of Oxford to study cell surface imaging markers of inflammation. I am passionate about discovery and finding new methods to solve medical and scientific problems. I have published 19 peer reviewed journal articles to date.
