I'm an undergraduate student at the University of Oregon currently studying biology, specifically marine biology. My love for marine biology started when I was young and infatuated with the ocean. My interest in sharks arose 3 years ago when I went free diving with wild sharks off the coast of Oahu. This experience changed my perception on sharks and opened my eyes to how truely important they are. I'm so excited to be apart of this project because I love learning about sharks and uncovering the secrets of the immense lifespan of the Greenland shark is fascinating.
