More
I'm an adult educator, media professional, and mindfulness practitioner with nearly two decades of experience guiding adult learners and creating meaningful content. With an MFA in Film and Television Production and as a PhD Candidate in Media Psychology, I'm deeply curious about how technology and ancient mindfulness practices can foster connection and learning.
I've spent 20 years teaching video and audio production at trade schools and community colleges, where I also managed two college radio station for 10 years. These experiences helped me to support students in discovering their voices while exploring their own creative path through documentary filmmaking, podcasting and audio editing. Along the way, my work has been recognized with a few awards, which I consider to be encouragement to keep learning and growing. I'm also a certified embodiment coach and long-time Buddhist practitioner, and I'm committed to creating spaces where people feel supported in their journeys toward mindfulness and self-awareness. My Buddhist values guide my work, emphasizing kindness, accountability, and a grounded approach to navigating challenges. These days, I enjoy designing learning experiences, leveraging the powerful presence of virtual reality, and that encourage thoughtful communication and personal responsibility. Whether through virtual reality, online platforms, or traditional classrooms, I see my work as an opportunity to help others find clarity and purpose in a fast-changing world. Above all, I'm grateful for the chance to combine my passions for creativity, education, and mindfulness in ways that feel meaningful to me and to those I serve.
