Lily, as usual, thank you for sharing your progress. And, congratulations on your first publication - both as first and senior author. I am impressed that your advisor gave you such latitude; what a great mentor. Also, it seems like you can make a tremendous impact both with your thesis research and when you become a zoo director (because you will) in highlighting the educational and conservation role of zoos. We know that, but obviously the public at large probably takes it for granted. We know with the Cincinnati Zoo that its educational and outreach programs are amazing. And, that that interesting and talkative zoo director has made it his mission to educate. I think that we take that all for granted. What a great niche you will have. And, I loved the picture.
