Lindsay Wood is an Environmental Scientist with more than twelve years of experience in conducting field studies and her areas of expertise include wildlife biology, forestry, watershed ecology, and water policy. Within the realm of wildlife biology, she specializes in avian, herptile, and fish species. Within the realm of forestry, she specializes in thinning, prescribed fire, and mycoremediation techniques. Wood has implemented landscape scale forestry projects on the Plumas National Forest that include treatments such as thinning and prescribed fire. Over the past five years, Wood has led project teams in the completion of over 1,500 acres in environmental assessments, delineated 340 acres of wetlands, eradicated invasive species across 49 acres through prescribed fire, and conducted innumerable protocol-level wildlife surveys.
