Do dogs and foxes share pathogens through fleas and ticks?

To obtain the necessary samples for this study, we will set traps to capture wild foxes, anesthetize them and obtain blood on which we will then perform molecular analyses. Samples will also be taken from dogs sympatric to these foxes, with the prior written consent of their owners. These sampling campaigns are as interesting as they sound!
