Methods

Summary

The multi-theory model (MTM) for health behavior change integrates constructs from widely-tested social cognitive theory, transtheorectical model, and other adult behavior learning theories for the purpose of effecting meaningful, long-term behavior change (Sharma, 2015 & 2017).

Challenges

The recruitment of study participants is often challenging and expected in this project as well. However, we are partnering with area churches to provide access to a women in their auxillary committees. A preliminary study has been conducted with the target group and we have considered their feedback and suggested recruitment approaches.

Pre Analysis Plan

Data analysis will entail repeated measures analysis of variance (ANOVA) using SPSS.
