MRI of Wagyu

An MRI scan was conducted on an A5 Japanese wagyu steak to replicate the structure of wagyu beef, allowing us to generate an accurate CAD model of the intramuscular fat. We have now built a dual nozzle 3D bioprinter and are conducting tests to optimize the printer parameters for this CAD model.

MRI of A5 Japanese wagyu steak and 3D rendering. Red represents the muscle and white represents the fat.
