We made it!

Thank you so much everyone! We made it to my $5,000 stretch goal right on the dot!

I can't tell you how much I appreciate all of your support! This has been an extremely exciting campaign, and talking with you all about my project has me even more excited to head out in just a couple of weeks!

I'll be writing soon with more updates on my progress, and asking some of you for lizard names! Until then, thanks again for everything! I'm so excited to get this project going!

Best, Colin

And bring back some good recipes for cooking the little fellas, also which wine would accompany them best. So happy for you, Colin!

Haha, are you kidding - these lizards have me so well trained I'm cooking FOR them! I'll be sure to report back on how exactly they like their mealworms prepared. As for the wine, I'll be sure to give it thorough attention. Thanks for your support!

About This Project

Traditional stone walls in Greece host high densities of lizards that look and perform differently from lizards living in undeveloped habitats. In collaboration with National Geographic, I will manipulate small islets in the Greek Archipelago in a first-of-its-kind long-term experiment to test whether walls cause these changes in lizards and whether these trait changes have effects on insects and plants in the ecosystem.
Blast off!
