Our research plots are looking....great!
While we've all been trying to survive the summer heat and enjoy ourselves before winter sets in over on the east coast of the United States, our groundnuts have been flourishing in The Gambia. We're excited to see how well the groudnuts are doing, as oftentimes other external variables, such as drought or flooding, can destroy a crop and any data being collected. We're prepping to take some mid-season soil core measurements soon and looking forward to seeing how the different oyster shell application rates are affecting the soil health. Check out these pictures below that capture a little bit of what's been going on, carried out by our partner, The Soil Solutions.
