Snake sightings!

Hey guys,

I've been finding lots of toads, 10 yesterday, to be exact. This is a great sign, and there is likely plenty of food for the hognose snakes.

Even better, is that a Plover Steward at the park witnessed THREE hognose snakes on Tuesday. I was told this by the nature center staff, and have contacted this man to get more information. Yesterday, I went to confim his sightings, and indeed saw the tracks of two seperate snakes. Unfortunatly these tracks emerge from and head into an area protected by piping plover fence.

About This Project

This video shows a large female Eastern Hognose Snake doing what they do best: NOT BITING, no matter what. I do not usually condone "messing" with animals, but in this case I think it is necessary to show people how docile and SAFE these snakes can be.

Hognose snakes are COOL!
Blast off!
