An Update on Gift Rewards23 November 2019 -- Bluffton, SC
Dear Backers,
I wanted to thank all of you again for your generosity in helping out our team in getting our fundraiser funded.  As part of the fundraiser, we are currently working on getting the gift rewards ready and distributed.  For those of you who donated $75 or more, you will receive a Coffee Mug with our logo on it.  For those who contributed $150 or more, you will receive both a Coffee Mug and a Cedar Birdhouse.  I am planning to have gift packages distributed on the week of December 1st.   I have everyone's mailing address, so just stay tuned for the next update that will talk about the distribution of the packages once we are ready to go.  Please follow us on Facebook too.

About This Project

How much of recyclable materials are we throwing into the trash at the University of South Carolina Beaufort?

University of South Carolina

The University of South Carolina Beaufort only supports paper recycling for waste generated by a 2,100 student body. We will add recycling of plastics and metals by employing single-stream recycling (SSR). For this 2 year study, we expect the SSR method to lead to lower amounts of landfill trash. Weight of recyclables and trash at a sample site will be collected to assess for a statistical significance of recyclables. Results will be published in a scientific journal.
