Digital Health Tools for Teens: YTH 2.0 and more!
Dear MyHealthEd Supporters,
Happy spring! We attended the Youth + Tech + Health (YTH) Live 2.0 Conference in San Francisco, CA last week where we presented our MyHealthEd project on the “Digital Health Tools of Teens” panel alongside Deb Levine, Director of Online Education at Planned Parenthood Federation of America. We learned a lot from other presenters and other conference attendees, and greatly appreciated the rich feedback we got from interested individuals from across the nation. We also heard about some innovative sex ed apps including the University of Oregon’s SexPositive. Check it out! We already look forward to attending the conference again next year!
We will be returning to San Francisco next week to participate in the Final Round Interview Day (FRID) for Teach For America’s Social Innovation Award on Tuesday, April 22nd. We are excited to present our project to a diverse group of judges and make the case that MyHealthEd is a game-changer to improve student health and student academic outcomes.
Our initial MyHealthEd pilot study is still scheduled to run from early May through mid-June. Stay tuned for more updates in the coming weeks!
