Two datasets to start, and preparing for a data collection

Hi Everyone!

I am writing to update you about our research. We have been contacting about 10 authors that previously examined mathematical models in Southeast Asia. We asked for their dataset so that we can have something to start with.

We received two datasets so far: 655 pregnancy data from Risanto et al, Universitas Gajah Mada (2013), and 315 pregnancy data from Suharlim E et al, Universitas Indonesia (2014). These data will be used to generate preliminary mathematical model, which we will compare with the model we generate from a more rigorous method we have in plan.

Very excited to get this started! Thanks all for your support and donation! and please share this to your friends and colleagues! Together, we can save lives!

Best

Chris

About This Project

Maternal and child mortality in Southeast Asian countries is still very high, especially in poor and rural areas. The goal of our study is to develop user-friendly mathematical model to improve referral of high-risk term pregnancies in resource-poor settings; creating a more resource-efficient health system, while delivering better health outcomes to mothers and children.
