About
I am the instructor of Global Politics and IB Extended Essay and Creativity Action Service Coordinator at North Broward Preparatory School in Coconut Creek, Florida. My work centers on engaging student learning in the study of world politics through progressive, constructivist pedagogical practices. Specifically, my teaching is rooted in the use of simulations and games as both concrete experiences and formative assessment tools which are used towards improving student learning outcomes. My research interests focus on understanding student engagement in simulations as well as the ways in which narrative feedback contributes to student performance on externally moderated assessments.
