About
I am a DVM currently doing my master degree in Animal Nutrition at the University of Nottingham. My passion for animals started at a really young age probably because both of my parents are vets.
Since my graduation I worked in the animal nutrition field as a technical advisor for an animal feed company where I was a daily witness of the lack of knowledge regarding zoo animal nutrition. During 4 years I had the opportunity to evaluate and recommend diets for a wide range of captive animals like psittacines, birds of prey, primates, felines, canines, large herbivores and even reptiles.
The search of a PhD programme where I could combine both nutrition and wild animals lead me to this research project and I am more than honored to be part of it.
