I've known I would end up being a scientist of some kind since before I was old enough to read. After spending much of my childhood dreaming of space, I ended up going into biology. I eventually realized that astrobiology had become a viable career field, and came to study in the world's #1 program at the University of Washington. I'm a marine invertebrate and mass extinction specialist.
