I'm a now-disabled pharmacy technician, and I remember seeing my patients struggle to pay for their insulin every month due to high copays or the high outright cost of it. Lantus is apparently OTC, but the cash price is ridiculous on it. It's even worse if your pet is diabetic and needs insulin too; I now volunteer with sick cats, and my own big fear is that my cats will develop diabetes and need insulin, which will be definitely cost prohibitive on a fixed income. The work you are doing is absolutely necessary and amazing, and I cannot thank you enough.
