A Senior at the University of Oregon. I am majoring in environmental science with a focus on biology and life sciences. I have always been fascinated by the ocean and knew that I wanted to implement the ocean into my career ever since I was a kid. Around the age of 12 I was Introduced to SCUBA diving which only further increased my desire to explore the ocean. Throughout my college career I have conducted research at the Oregon Institute of Marine Biology studying the Parasite Peltogaster paguri and its relationship with hermit crabs native to the oregon coast. I have also done research at the Central Caribbean Marine Institute, conducting an observational study on the build up of marine debris along the beaches of Little Cayman, Cayman Islands.
