Yufei (Andy) Chen is currently a senior member in the Laboratory of Drug Delivery and Biomaterials at the College of Pharmacy, Rady Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Manitoba. His main research area involves the field of pharmaceutical / material sciences as well as biomedical engineering, aiming at the development of novel point-of-care strategies against various diseases and innovative intravaginal microbicides against HIV-1 infection.
Yufei has received a number of prestigious awards for his excellent academic and scientific research performance, including Manitoba Health Research Council - Faculty of Pharmacy Coordinated Studentship, Leslie F. Buggy Graduate Scholarship in Pharmacy, MPhA / William G. Eamer Graduate Scholarship in Pharmacy, University of Manitoba Graduate Fellowship, International Graduate Student Entrance Scholarship, and various travel awards to attend Canadian and international conferences.
