About
António Correia received M.Sc. degree in Information and Communication Technologies from the University of Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro (UTAD), Vila Real, Portugal, in 2012. His Master's thesis obtained Summa Cum Laude (20/20). In the last years, he was a research fellow at IAPMEI, a junior researcher at UTAD, and a Banco Espírito Santo's trainee. Currently, he is a Researcher at INESC TEC and IAPMEI and a Ph.D. Candidate in Computer Science at UTAD. His research interests are mainly in the field of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), including the areas of Computer Supported Cooperative Work (CSCW), Computer-Supported Collaborative Learning (CSCL), crowdsourcing, human computation, scientometrics, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and machine learning. He authored or coauthored over 10 scientific publications in conferences, journals and books. In addition, he also participated in three research projects. Last but not least, he is an independent musician with 1 album released.
