I am a critical care paramedic a former fire lieutenant and deputy sheriff. The understanding of responding to emergency situations in a timely manner allows for a direct perspective that the faster the responses and interventions can arrive the greater chance a person has to survive. I am a licensed drone pilot through the United States Federal Aviation Administration as well as hold a United Kingdom Flyer and Operators license and an Irish Aviation Authority operators permit.
My current position is as the Product Development Manager for Chinook Medical Gear where my job requires me to design medical kits and modules for medical providers to appropriately manage medical emergencies and patients. I also spend time working with and collaborating with civilian and military medical providers to address their medical needs in remote and austere locations and the best way to create a solution for their specific situations.
Currently I am working on a Global Masters in Public Health at Imperial College London. The research being conducted can assist those in lower economic areas receive necessary medical supplies and support rescue operations in those locations with a hope of decreasing morbidity and mortality rates.
