More
I am a graduate of the University of Waterloo where I obtained my Ph.D. in molecular biology in 2005. Since then, my research has been focused exclusively in the field of virology. As a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Waterloo, I am involved in researching the behavioural patterns of several viruses. I study their behavioural patterns, develop effective methods of decontamination, and observe transmission techniques. I have been involved with diagnostic testing for Avian Influenza, Newcastle disease, Rabies & Lyssavirus, etc. Previously, I have conducted studies and published scientific articles on the survivability of the SARS-CoV-2. I have also contributed to the second edition of the Canadian Biosafety Handbook.
