Having seen many miraculous changes in people when listening to the right kind of music for them in palliative care, where I worked as a registered nurse, I did not hesitate to make a contribution here, albeit very, very small. I have also used sound therapy both externally (listening and applying direct tones from a piano keyboard via earphones to a particular body site) and internally (using the human voice as an instrument) to create healing change in myself and clients. And I am inspired by the wonderful works of Dr June Leslie Wieder - "Song of the Spine", Hans Cousto "The Cosmic Octave", Ted Andrews "Sacred Sounds", Wayne Perry "Sound Medicine" and many others.
