About
I am a research assistant professor and medical educator in the Department of Anatomical Sciences at the Stony Brook University School of Medicine, where I teach cadaver-based gross anatomy to medical and allied health students.
Like most paleontologists, I’ve always been enamored with relicts of bygone ages, and my lifelong passions for studying, conserving, and sharing natural heritage coalesce seamlessly in the field of paleontology. I love that my job allows me to spend my days diving headlong into anatomical esoterica - human, sauropod, or otherwise - and to share my abiding affection for nature’s endless forms with students, colleagues, and the public. When I’m not teaching or researching, I knit, devour podcasts, and pretend that I’m training for a marathon.
