About
Briana is a first-generation undergraduate student majoring in Bioengineering at Stanford University. At Stanford, she conducts research engineering biomaterials to culture intestinal organoids to better study intestinal disease and drug screening. As an aspiring physician-scientist, she hopes to develop clinically-relevant solutions to provide more accessible, high-quality medical care to underserved populations. Apart from research, she is passionate about science activism, specifically elevating community voices in conversations centered on bioengineering, identity, and culture. She is excited about creating inclusive spaces that empower youth to explore STEM in a fun and engaging way.
