We finally made it to West Papua, March 2020, after it had been on the bucket list for years. Lucky enough to respectfully and peacefully swim with mantas, seeing them felt life-changing. The next goal is to go to PNG. Wish the place wasn’t separate and also wishing you every success in this trip/project. I hope the area remains unspoilt and biodiversity/mantas can thrive.
