My scientific interests are in the fields of veterinary medicine and animal conservation. In the 21st century the most pressing agenda for animal conservation is global climate change. In the past decade Polar bears were a hotly debated topic and were the poster animal of "global warming". Unfortunately, Polar bears are still affected by global climate change and it's up to researchers to educate the public. Our group is dedicated to understanding the means of hibernation and how the shifting seasons will affect new born cub size.
