About
I continue to apply and grow the knowledge and skills I acquired while obtaining my Ph.D. in biochemistry from the University of Toronto in my current occupation as the Director of Bacteriology. This position has given me a number of hands-on experiences with zoonotic diseases such as West Nile Virus, H1N1, and Avian Influenza. The main focus of my work is to prevent bacterial and viral infections and how to limit their transmission among the population. I have taken part in numerous studies that aim to effectively determine the cause and correlation between a virus and its method of transport, as well as incorporating variables it would encounter in a non-simulated environment.
