Umae Zafar is in the Science and Business program in the University of Waterloo specializing in biotechnology. At the end of her high school career, Umae Zafar graduated with the Ontario scholar award for an average of over 80%, a gold award, that is achieved for outstanding extracurricular involvement along with her high school diploma. In grade 12, she competed in DECA and earned the title of Event Finalist at Regionals and was among the top 25 at Provincials where people from all over Ontario competed.
