This project will give a lot of light to all of us that we work with Pontoscolex corethrurus in the tropics. Specially, when we want to understand why this species is so adaptable. I believe that its interactions with microorganisms is one of its cause of success and here the study of horizontal gene transfer will give some interesting answers.
