I've been a rock collector and enthusiast since my single digits in the 70s. It was only fitting that I go into geology once out of high school. I received my B.S. in 1994, with a math minor and 1 course shy of a linguistics minor (the advisors somehow missed it). My focus was mainly igneous and planetary geology. I've since settled into printing, but my enthusiasm for everything rock has never died.
