James is a Ph.D. student in Clinical Psychology at Florida State University, studying under the guidance of Dr. Jesse Cougle.
James earned his Bachelor's degree in Economics and Philosophy at Dartmouth College in 2018. Following graduation, he worked as a growth strategy consultant for two years before deciding that he was more interested in maximizing human well-being than quarterly earnings. His research interests include digital therapeutics, therapist effectiveness, and the treatment of anxiety disorders.
The proposed project will be conducted as his Master's Thesis, an integral step towards receiving her Master of Science degree (projected Spring 2024) and her Ph.D. (projected Summer 2027).
