About
I am a senior research software engineer and training lead at Newcastle University in the UK. I spend half my time on organising and teaching Software Carpentries workshops and the other half on software engineering.
I am also a Carpentries instructor and instructor trainer. In 2022 I was awarded a Software Sustainability Institute Fellowship to work on CarpentriesOffline which aims to produce tools for instructors to deliver workshops when there is no or limited Internet access.
