Hi! My name is Karen Eng and I am a first-year student at the University of Waterloo. I have always had a passion for helping others and making the world a better place, which has motivated me to obtain a BsC degree in Psychology Co-op, with goals to train as a neuropsychologist in the future. My areas of research interest include cognitive development and memory. Currently, I am a peer mentorship coordinator for the Science Society club. I am the only first year coordinator in the club and am determined to establish a strong network within the Faculty of Science. Furthermore, I have also joined Cam’s Kids, a club that helps young adults with anxiety. My roles in both Cam’s Kids and Science Society at the University of Waterloo are aimed at helping others make their lives easier.
