I have BA in Zoology from San Diego State University and MS in Biological Documentation from Cal State University Long Beach. In the early 70s, worked as a marine mammal observer for NMFS aboard several fishing vessels and NOAA ships, and necropsied over 300 marine mammals between field trips. I worked in cardiology research for 5 years. I am Founder and President of The Sexton Corporation and its predecessor companies for over 40 years, building custom underwater housings for scientific instruments and cameras. I have done recent field research with Northern elephant seals, gray whales, humpback whales, and Orcas.
